This policy explains what we do with personal details submitted through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect
- Details you type into the enquiry form: name, company, email address, telephone number, the division or commodity selected, and your message.
- If you use the chat assistant: your name and email address, the questions you ask it, and the page you asked from. The assistant sends these to our inbox with your first question, and with any later question it cannot answer, so a person can follow up. It also sends you one short thank-you email.
- Details you send us directly by email or telephone.
When you give your name and email in the chat, or send an enquiry, your browser also keeps them on your own device (in its local storage) so our forms can fill them in for you next time. That copy never leaves your device on its own; clearing your browser data removes it.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site, and the site does not set cookies for marketing purposes.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The site works without any cookies. If you click Accept in the cookie notice, and only then, it may load measurement and advertising tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Microsoft Clarity, depending on which ones we use at the time. They set their own cookies and tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and whether our adverts lead to enquiries. They are told that an enquiry or chat took place, never its content, your name, your email or your phone number.
Click Decline and none of them load. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage on that device; the cookie icon in the bottom corner reopens the notice so you can change it at any time. Each provider's own privacy policy explains how it handles the data it receives.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to quote against your requirement, and to keep a record of the commercial correspondence between us. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and email providers process the data on our instructions so that the site and our mailboxes function. Where fulfilling your enquiry requires it (for example arranging inspection, shipment or documentation) the necessary details are shared with the parties involved in that transaction, and no further.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept only as long as the commercial conversation is live, and are then deleted. Where a contract is concluded, records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask for them to be corrected, or ask for them to be deleted. Write to info@tristarenterprises.com and we will respond.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the staff who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure; do not send commercially sensitive documents through the enquiry form when a secured channel is available.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with its date.
